Bear Strings is the after school alternative styles ensemble that rehearses Thursdays from 3:45-4:45. Bear Strings is open to any student who is in orchestra
. There are no auditions to perform with Bear Strings, however students may only miss two rehearsals to be eligible to perform on a concert.
Bear Strings regularly performs 4 performances a year including the Blue Notes and Bare Voices concert in December, and the Alternative Strings Festival in April. Bear Strings also goes on a tour of the elementary schools in April.
